RC 6" Rear Redflo?

I had installed 6" lift.
More satisfied after upgrade to Redflo front coilovers.
Now the problem is: the front is way much better than the RC rear shock, which is too harsh for me.
I heard from Redflo that their twin tube design is more comfortable onroad, while monotube RC shock is harsh.
Anyone of you who has more knowledge about shock would have some suggestion.
Is it a shock problem, or the spring to be blamed?

Radflo is having a sale going on now. I was going to get a set for the front and was wanting to know how you like yours.

So will the radflo's rear 6'' fix the hard ride? or is the spring to blame?

Re: RC 6" Rear Redflo?

I can confirm that the RC rear shock is to blame for the harsh ride. I installed all but the rear springs from the RC6 kit in the rear of my FJ the day before I finished the rest of the install. I was running Procomp 3" rear coils with the RC6 shocks, and immediately I noticed how extremely stiff the rear end was compared to the Procomp ES9000 shocks I removed.

Re: RC 6" Rear Redflo?

Thanks for the confirm on the shocks. I'm thinking of going radflo's all round w/ the RC6''. How did you make out with the ICON rear lower links & drive shaft vibration? I'm hoping not to run into that but the more I look around the more common it seems to be.
Thanks again man.
