I hate to keep relisting this problem, but I have done tons of reading and tweaking...and I still have a popping or clunk when I back up from a stopped position, or have my wheels cut. I have looked at my coils hitting my uca's... not it. My ball joints seem fine. My front drive shaft seems tight. Brakes are good, only 15k. I know others have the same issue because I have been following it on the forum. Has anyone come up with any answers? I know it has to do with something over extended from a 3" lift...that seems to be everyones common denomonater. It is killing me, it sounds like I drive some POS! Help!!

Dude, if I were you, I would be very tempted to strap someone under that truck and don't untie them until they find where they noise is coming from. Looks like you have more than enough ground clearance for a child or small adult

buy a torque wrench and torque the LCA bolts to 100 ft-lbs. always works for me when I have popping. if that doesnt work are you sure your brake rotors and pads are fine? mine used to pop and I had them warrantied under the TSB (forgot the number).
also check the torque on your rear trailing arm mounts, they should be 95 ft-lbs. these will pop also and can sound like the noise is coming from the front.

Im willing to bet it's something other then the sway bar issue most seem to bring up. I have no swaybar and still get the annoying clunk/pop. I've checked everything out other then the brakes on mine. So, my bet is it is a brake issue.

Are you using a aftermarket skid plate? It's possible that your sway bar is contacting your skid plate when you back up. Another possibility is that your trans mount is broken or loose, you should get some one to get down next to truck when you back up to watch for it..
The problem you describe sounds just like what I have started experiencing this week. I noticed that it only started after getting my front end aligned at the dealership the past weekend. Tomorrow I am going to try tightening my front lower control arm adjustment bolts, because that is the only thing I can see possibly being changed recently.
