After RC 6 inch lift my front diff is leaking????

Installed my Rough Country lift last week. Went to Wheeltoberfest and wheel all weekend with no issues. I noticed that when I left work lastnight I noticed a little puddle about the size of a half dollar on both sides of my front diff. It is leaking oil on both side where the axles go into the diff. What the heck is going on. Does anybody have any ideas??

Re: After RC 6 inch lift my front diff is leaking????

Sounds like your leaking thru the seals, hope your still within your warranty range. My right side started leaking after I took it into a rock garden east Tn. It's just enough to keep the bottom wet but isn't dripping yet. Once you lift the front the stock angle of your CV's are changed at a greater angle causing more stress. I've benn running a big lift and I knew this would happen sooner or later.

Heard this before, but not just with the RC lift,
do a little searching here on the forum, I know
I have seen it listed before...

Re: After RC 6 inch lift my front diff is leaking????

You might want to double check when I put my 6" kit on, the breather tube on the top of the diff pulled out and was leaking fluid. You cant really see the tube but if you reach on top of the diff near the driver side you can feal it. The rubber tube from the factory is not very long. I picked up a longer piece of fuel line from the autoparts store and installed some hose clamps in it.
