Variable assist power steering settings?

There were multiple settings on my VW with variable assist power steering. You could set it via a connection to the ECU either at the dealer or with VAG-COM software on your home PC.

Is there a way for us or the dealer to do something like this on our FJ's?

I'm looking to reduce the amount of assist.

Oh men, i remember my 07 Jetta, that was a nice system.

but as far as i know we dont have that on the FJ's at least on the 07's
