I modified my Map Light to work with the door 12v. Since I was not going to use the stock switches for the main light, I decided to add two small LED lights point out the side to give some indirect light.

Doing this, however, made the inside of the Map Light look cluttered with wires. This does not bother me though because I use it for a ScanGuage mount. The switch I used is a SPDT that Swiss discussed earlier in the thread to make the lights work the same as the dome. It turned out really clean and I am happy with the extra light when I open the door.
