Frisco! No FJ! Yet...

Hello all, just signed in "officially". Lurking for too long.

So who up "north" wants to take me wheelin'? gsgmac? castlehills?

Anyone in North Dallas been to the trails near Denton? Went there several years ago with the North Texas Jeep guys, was pretty good. Some interesting stuff and free.

If anyone wants to go, let me know.

Welcome to the club, I'm in Denton currently for school @ UNT. I travel over to Frisco/Allen area every once in awhile to see friends. Everytime I go there, I take 380 and I always see a couple of FJs driving, but nobody ever flashes me back

Thanks! Coming from Denton to Frisco on 380, you drive right by the off-road trails I was talking about.

There's a lot of wheeling going on (monthly in fact) if you don't mind wheeling with Toyotas that aren't FJC's...

Here's this month's event: ICBM VI 9/21-24 Chat Thread

The Toyota Trail Riders (a TLCA Chapter) meet the third Thursday of every month at Pappas BBQ on Loop 12 & NW Highway. Lone Star Land Cruisers (a TLCA Chapter) also meets there with us.

Tonight the FJ Cruiser Trail Team will be at Pappas, as well as at the ICBM event this weekend.

I wish I could wheel what I have, but I doubt that I would get far in my car.

Wish I had seen that the Trail Team was intown for the meeting, I just might have driven out.

Well, just signed the paperwork on my FJ. Unfortunately it is in D.C.

But I will be ready to go wheelin' after I pick it up at Christmas. For now it will sit in the In-Laws garage.

Got a pretty good deal. Black Diamond/MT/CQ/UP1/Running Boards for 26500 out the door. Now that is without tax. Didn't want the running boards, but finding a BD/MT with CQ and UP1 or 2 wasn't easy. Will probably give them away when I get sliders.

Looking forward to starting the mods. Lift with 33's will be waiting for me when I get back.
