Inaugural Texas FJ's State Meet
What: Inaugural Texas FJ's State Meet
When: Sometime in 2007 - TBD
Where: TBD
Address and Phone: TBD
Directions and Map: TBD
Alright just kicking the idea of a Texas State meet for FJ owners in the lonestar state. Maybe something in early 2007. I know there's going to be a National FJ meet in the first quarter of 2007 but this might not be feasible for everyone here in Texas.
Ideas, thoughts? Let's discuss....

I could probably set something up with an offroad park in the B/CS area or Huntsville, that way it would be inbetween houston and dallas?

If you are not too xenophobic, the Lone Star Toyota Jamboree is in January at BMRA... it's the biggest Toyota Off-Road event in Texas.
I would hope some FJC's will venture out to join in some wheeling...

Yeah that would work, but might be in Colorado for some snowboarding action. If not and not too early in the year I'll go for sure. It could me the "First Annual FJ Cruiser State meet at the Lone Star Toyota Jamboree" type thingy, haha. I've been inviting out the TTORA crowd for Happy Hour but no takers except Harold yet. Actually I'll be bringing up the topic of coordinating our FJ Happy Hour with the montly Houston TTORA meet.
Now back to the state meet idea. If too early in the year, maybe we can do something like in late February or early March.

Just an FYI, but if you are thinking about Katemcy, the LSLC Roundup has it booked in March...

Re: Inaugural Texas FJ's State Meet
Hell if we are thinking about all the things we could do, everyone can head out to our event the Texas Club Challenge in April, but i think a toyota event or FJ event would be better like valk said, and that is in Katemcy...

Awesome! Katemcy, that's about 1.5hr west of Austin. I might be up for that. You guys in Houston seem to have something going all the time.
