bah... just because they don't sell spacers.

Can you narrow it down for me anymore?
I happen to like my 1/2" spacers thank you very much! Kills that stupid FJ rake! And I have spent over 300 bucks with ya'lls stupid parts department so I guess i can't complain about ya'll too much

Can I narrow it down? Yeah this guy was a douche bag. Oh wait you work in a car dealership so that doesn't help any...:P Yeah he looked like about a 6'4" or 6'5" walking penis with dark hair. He used the office just to the left of the F&I manager's office.

Re: DFW Toyota Dealership

hmmmm. I'm pretty sure I know who you are talkng about, but I don't know the kid.

Wel, I guess what matters is the important thing- you were treated well overall and got the vehicle you wanted.

Your story serves as a reminder for everyone to have your financing arranged ahead of time so when you go into the box it's painless.

On behalf of Toyota of Dallas I will apologize for his lack of professionalism... despite what some people think, many dealerships (ours included) work very hard at creating a positive customer experience.

Sadly, a single instance of unprofessionalism can taint an otherwise great experience and cause us all to be labeled as "douche bags"...

No one sees the instances when I am on the phone until 1AM trying to find a part and get it to a guy who was returning from the Baja enroute to Florida and broke down in the middle of the desert (last night); or my painter & bodyman who came in at 3AM Saturday to get a car ready for a customer who had a family emergency & needed to leave town suddenly (last weekend); or the Service Advisor who got a key cut and personally delivered it (for free) to a lady who locked herself out of her car at 8PM (last week); etc., etc.

One bad apple spoils the bushel...

That is the damn truth. I had a great experience at TOD RIGHT up until the point of F&I. Oh well, the thing is they got me into an FJ for less than sticker when no one else would and that is all that matters to me. I know how dealerships work but i have never had an F&I guy throw such a fit when i turned down his stuff. But then again most F&I guys dont have to work very hard to sell off their stuff, and there was a couple of things i wanted they just weren't in my budget and thus i had to say no to everything and tried to tell him that straight up from the beginning and he didn't like that. Then again i don't know why a lotta people fall for most of the F&I bs, but i think it is because they don't know that it is bs...

Re: DFW Toyota Dealership

You should try Toyota of Fort Worth. They are very professional. The Service Manager is Pat Lemieux. If you ask for him he can put you in contact with a sales person. My sales rep was Burl Thomas. They have already given me a new set of tires and radio under warranty with no trouble at all. Good luck.

Re: DFW Toyota Dealership

In all fairness, Toyota of Ft. Worth is a very good store, and they are supportive of the off-raod community as well.

I'm pretty sure Toyota has given most everyone here another set of tires...
