Talking Texas for X-mas - 2012

We'll be down there for last week Dec., and first week Jan. Family stuff early-on for X-mas and all that. No solid plans yet for the rest of the time. |Would like to meet up with some of you if possible while we're down there.....maybe a lunch/drink meet-up if nothing else, but if we can get in an off-road side trip, that would be cool too.

Looks like our best bet for wheeling will be the weekend of the 29-30. Does anyone know if Northwest OHV Park in Bridgeport will be open that weekend?

Wana meet for lunch (Vandy, if you come up north, I buy you lunch) or a drink?

UPDATE:
We're going to meet up at Northwest OHV Park for some offroading fun on Sunday, Dec. 30th.
Here's the link to their website.

Officially, it's called 'Northwest OHV Park'. It's owned and operated by the city of Bridgeport.
The entrance to the property is on highway 101 here.
The place to pay to get into the OHV portion of the recreation area is here.

When?

Some of the guys are meeting for lunch at Rock City Burger (here) at 11:00, and then...

We'll meet just inside the gate of Northwest OHV Park at noon for some wheelin.

Thanks, bro.
Ya, we usually run into something wicked about every three years or so (like the 50-car pile-up in a blizzard on 287 one year.....escaped via Sandi taking us off the highway and going on townie streets, pulling people out of the ditch or moving them off the road where they were stuck in ruts all day long just to get through), and I think we might be due. Here's to hoping for the best.

Have fun with your guests....give em a good mountain vacation.

Don't know if you're making it down as far south as Austin or San Antonio, but if you do, let me know.
