Deals? Best Houston Dealership for price?

Hi Guys,
I know this gets asked alot, but anyone know of a dealership/saleperson for a good deal on a FJ? I am looking for one in black with upgrade package one and auto tranny. Still undecided between the 4x4 or 4x2. Leaning more towards the 4x2 though (flame on!! lol), since it won't be taken offroad and price. Also is paying MSRP paying too much? Can I do better?

I was happy to pay MSRP in late Oct (Champion Toyota in Dallas), most dealers were demanding $2500 over. Then again, they stuck me on the trade....
On the 4x4 vs 4x2, of course the resale will be better on the 4x4. Not to mention IMO, a lot more fun. I haven't owned a 4x4 since having a CJ in 87, and had forgotten how much fun they were.

well I just got an offer of MSRP at two dealers in Houston. So I am guessing since it is almost at the end of the month and yr I can deal a bit better.

Re: Deals? Best Houston Dealership for price?

contact Fred Haas Toyota Country and ask for David Greer, tell him Georgia Rennick referred you and said you could deal on an FJ and see what he says. He has already told my husband he could deal on a 4 wheel drive, but my husband really needs a pick up, so we are not buying a second FJ. Call him, 281 374-5170. As far as color goes, I would pick my options from what they have in stock regardless of color, the vehicles sell pretty fast. I am not affiliated with this dealership, I work for the cable company (soon to be Comcast) and went through the GM. Search the online inventory at Fred Haas Toyota Country North Houston Toyota Dealership Spring Toyota Dealership New Toyota Car Sales Toyota Service Toyota Auto Parts Toyota Finance Houston Toyota Used Toyota Pre-Owned Toyota preowned Toyota Certified Cars Toyota Trucks Toyota SUV

Re: Deals? Best Houston Dealership for price?

thanks for the info Georgiapeach. My gf decided to hold off on getting a FJ b/c we can't find a FJ with the equip we want. Seems like all the texas dealers load the FJ's to the brim. We only want the 4x4 auto with CQ and alloy wheels. Trying to keep everything around 25K DO(drive out). Instead we are now looking at the Tacoma's 4x2 auto Quad cab V6. My uncle just got one last week for under 23K drive out. So we are still leaving our options open btwn the FJ and the Taco. All I know is we need a bigger car b/c all I have is my s2000 which is not very practical.

You are right, most of the ones we have seen have similar options, but all priced from $30 to $33000. Now would be the time to buy a Tacoma with Toyotathon winding down.
