New Off Road Park

Just wanted to let everyone know that there is a new offroad park just outside of Rockdale. It's called the Tire Trax Ranch. It looks like a lot of mud but thats mostly what we have around here

Re: New Off Road Park

Well a brisk 2.5 hours out of Houston.. it is closer than Dallas so thats a plus.

I would be interested in some photos and a possible "review" of the park.

Website perhaps?

Re: New Off Road Park

I checked out the website and it looks like someone dug some pits and dumped in sand, dirt, and water to about 3 feet deep and called it a park. There may be more to it that isn't shown but it looks like hillbilly heaven from the pictrures.

Thats the truth about many of the offroad parks in this area, one big mud bog.

On the other hand have any of you ever been to Shilo Ridge (Alto, TX)

I used to go there to ride my 4 wheeler on their trails decent place.

True, but you never know. I just want more options when it comes to off roading. Due to the terrain and the types of rigs in Texas "Off Road Park" usually translates to "Mud Hole".

Re: New Off Road Park

I justt sent them an e-mail to see if they had any other information. there website didn't provide too much info. I asked about types of trails/ratings, how large it was, miles of trails, camping, air station, wash down, etc... I'll post it if i hear a response.
