Houston Build Party?

Check out this link Houston: (Planning) Another Florida Build Day!!!!!!

I would be up for something like this, bigtime, although my mechnical abilities are primitive at best. I have tools and I can do basic stuff. That's about it. Once we get past bumpers and rock rails, I start to worry.

Is anyone else interested in this kind of thing?

I know I'd like to do some of the SCUBA modifications. And it would be great for me, as an apartment dweller with no garage, to find someone with a workspace who needs an extra pair of hands.

Re: Houston Build Party?

Sounds great seeing that i got the DAYSTAR lift but don't have the money to go get installed... spending the cash for labor can go to tires and or extra stuff.... and i have a garage but no tools...

Re: Houston Build Party?

I'm going to link this over at TTORA's site... those guys over there are always modding something and after talking with a few I'm sure more than willing to lend a hand or two, especially if there is a little grub and spirits to go with!

Not yet. I set it up(the removal/install) in such a way that the OME's will not need to be recompressed. I am just going to take them off and leave them compressed so whoever wants them willn't have to got the the trouble and expense of having them compressed.

Re: Houston Build Party?

I don't have a garage either and it sucks but i do have a decent tool set and plenty of mechanical apptitude. I am going buy the rest of the stuff that i need for the scuba mods, i have the union part for the rear differential currently.

Even if I don't have anything to do to my rig i would be down to turn wrenches with you guys.
