Gilmer sounds great to me!!!

On another topic discussed, I did get the blessing to use the OV-10 Bronco Association maintenance area for a DFW area get together / mod /burgers and hot dog day. Heck, I'll even help anyone who wants to black out silver trim parts (a.k.a. joining the Rattle Can Mafia). I'll give tours of the museum and have some really kewl airplanes as a backdrop to our work.
Let me know what help you'll need to put this together. I think it's a fantastic idea!

Re: North Texas Meet & Greet at NRH Hooters on 03-15

Time to start thinking about Meet & Greet II. Did not hear back from Mike who suggested his buddy's bar in Arlington. I also do not think he ever registered on the forum. Several people suggested Bone Daddy's in Grapevine so let's plan on that being the location for the April M&G.

Also, during our first M&G there was some talk of going to Barnwell Mountain Recreational area in Gilmer. Myself, Rubicon Chris and another friend plan to make a run the second weekend in April. Probably arrive Friday afternoon (11th) and depart Sunday (13th) around lunchtime.

Please post up if you would like to go to Gilmer.

I will start a M&G II (April 19th) thread shortly and will add a link from this one.

EDIT: Dallas Fort Worth/NE Texas Meet & Greet II

I'd really like to go, but can't say this far out if I can for sure - may have some business to do that weekend.
