run at your own risk,

a coworker came into work today with his blazer all covered in mud. i asked him were he was muddin at and he said the old closed golf course at bissonnet and kirwood (i think he's talking about suger hill golf course) has any houstonian heard about this. i think i might go cruise by there this weekend.

oh i got the thread title from when he told me that there are a lot of 4 wheelers and trucks out there but its a run at your own risk kinda thing...

Re: run at your own risk,

Sounds like it would be fun but i bet the moderators will close this thing soon because they have problems with offroading. I think they are creating mall crawlers and dont want to get down and dirty.... anyways they closed my thread because i was trying to get some folks together to go wheeling at a location like this and i wasnt "treading lightly".

Just because certain people dont want to get in trouble you cant silence others who want to have fun. Ill give this forum until this evening before its closed....

Angry Re: run at your own risk,

oh man nevermind no wonder offroading gets such a bad rep. TREAD LIGHTLY and run on approved 4x4 trails. Otherwise, you're just going to fug it up for everyone else.

It's just common sense not a personal attack.

Please do not do this. I urge you and anybody else listening to not break the law and stay off of private property that you have no business on just to go get your truck muddy. This is the reason they are closing down so many areas to responsible off-roaders.

Please do not take this as me trying to bash you. I just want to stress how important it is to be responsible and do the right thing. We've had so many areas closed down to us because of those few bad apples that do this type of stuff.

If you want to go offroad, do it in a legal designated OHV area.

Thanks

Nope. We just have respect for our hobby and land use. ...and you're right about the thread

Folks, quit giving offroading a bad name.

Re: run at your own risk,

...and just for you, Hitman. It's not about the mud or the mall, it's about being legal and giving our sport a bad name. Here's some mud in your eye.
