Plus we got to meet Burton Gilliam from Blazing Saddles. Now he does the Rodeo Ford commercials here in DFW.
WOW...I didn;t realize that was THE Burton Gilliam in the ads, tho I thot he looked familiar. I saw him do some very good public announcements/pledge drive stuff that made me respect him other than the crazy Ford commercias. Next time I'll get his autograph or invite hime over for dinner or something!

On another topic, my wife sat in alot of SUV's in the show, and while she was drawn in, she would have that moment of reflection and say, "but it's not the FJ". Man, I love her!
On another note, when we were looking at the FJ at the auto show with the ARB bumber, and I said that we need a new front bumper, she stated that only if it came with a winch. Wow...

Sounds like a good time was had by all. Unfortunately we spent most of our day at the hospital. My wife's 83 y.o. grandmother, who has not been feeling well, has been staying with us the past week so we could help her until she felt better. She decided to go outside for some fresh air and ended falling and breaking her arm.
On a positive note the weather is looking great for next weekend. Anyone who wants to make a run to Barnwell Mountain in Gilmer is welcome to join us. Wheeling, camping, grilling, drinking, etc...

Wife and I just got back today. I wanted to go yesterday but we just had to much to do that day. Maybe next time.
Wife and I had a fun time doing the off road adventure. She is a little sad that she didn't get a beanie or anything. Guess I'll have to order her one off the web

We had a great time hooking up with FJ-Dozer and meeting up with FamilyJ in the Target parking lot. We had a great day and loads of swag for the effort. Sean ( my 3 y.o. son) and I wiped out for a nap afterward - drivers and navigators gotta get their rest...lol.
Here are a few pics that FJ-Dozer took while we were at the Dallas Auto Show:
The dirtiest FJ in DFW....
Hitting the course.
Waiving to the wife and kiddo.
"You want some more beans Mr. Taggart???"
