After this news bomb shell I don't know how I will be able to continue driving... birds will be falling out of the sky, frogs will be jumping into fires, snakes will be drowning themselves... hell, I feel a tear coming on...

If you want you could invest now in:

S-Line Tow Strap — 18,000-Lb. Capacity, 2in. x 30ft, Nylon | Tow Chains, Ropes + Straps | Northern Tool + Equipment

and 2 or more of these:
Clevis — 3/4in. Dia, Heat Treated Pin | 3-Point Hitch Accessories | Northern Tool + Equipment

Northerntool is right up on I45 so close by.

If you don't want to get those, don't fret we will have ours in the truck. You can bring some cold beverages of your choice and perhaps a snack.

Shoes you don't mind getting muddy, bug repellent, a towel you don't mind getting muddy.

I think that covers it.


We will once again be wheeling the bone stock, on dunflops FJ.

Thank you sir (for the advice and links)! That northern tool is right by my place, and I'm thinking it's going to be worth the $60 bucks to invest in some quality recovery gear.
