Thank you sir (for the advice and links)! That northern tool is right by my place, and I'm thinking it's going to be worth the $60 bucks to invest in some quality recovery gear.
Yeah recovery gear is worth the money. I have had to use mine to get pulled out and have had to pull out calichaos twice, five by five once and migz once. Not that i am counting or anything.

Well, Saturday I will be driving out of town, but not in a northerly direction and not in my FJ. Gotta help a friend get her car back after her transmission went out on her while visiting from S.A. last weekend... I'm out.
