Memorial Park BBQ

I was wondering how many would be interested in getting together like a Saturday or Sunday for a BBQ at memorial park?

I was out there today and it looks like they would have plenty of space to hold us and we could take some horse shoes and what not just hang out drink beer and eat.

So who is in

Re: Memorial Park BBQ

I like the idea but my weekends are full until May. I know the TLCC Houston chapter has a meeting coming up out there this Saturday, unfortunately their website is down but they and their 40's meet up HERE.

Any time man, I've been going up to Smithville (Rocky Hill Ranch) the past couple of weekends and I've only been into it for about a month now, so there wouldn't be much of a learning curve. I did an 8 mile loop through some brutal trails, so I think I'm ready to tear it up at Memorial. Depending on if we party Friday night, my roomate and I are thinking of hitting it up early Saturday morning. We may have more people joining us, I'll keep you posted.

Re: Memorial Park BBQ

I say we play it by ear, how are the trails out there? When does it get crowded? I've been getting spoiled going to RHR, there are 1,000 acres to ride there, and you hardley see anyone else on the trails.
