Houston Sited Thread

I don't know if we've started one in the past, but here we go:

Sited, today at 5:40am going north on 45 south of Downtown, BC with 3" lift, aftermarket wheels/tires, ARB front bumper, personalized plate "BETO13".

Sweet rig, with all the aftermarket stuff, I figure the owner of this rig would be a member of the forum.

Kind of a continuation of THIS thread but I'll update this when I see some on the roads.

Re: Houston Sited Thread

I am only posting if I have seen modded FJ's.

I have seen two up in The Woodlands.

First, there is (probably an 07) Black Diamond, with what looks like Gobi roof rack, and ARB bumper. No lift and lots of electronic gizmos inside.

Other I have seen, which is pretty kewl. Sunstorm, with blacked out bling. Dual exhaust (Borla I guess). No roof rack, and I can't remember what wheels, but he/she has some driving lights mounted on the brush guard that look pretty serious. I have seen them on during the AM. And I think the FJ and tire marks on the tire cover are painted SFY.

Thats it. All others are unmodded guys. Unless you count butterfly stickers as a modification, then I have seen a Voodoo Blue.

Also, I don't think either of the two above are forum peeps.

I saw a Sandstorm with Off Road setup on the Hardy today around 6:50 AM. Was coming off the toll road southbound and making its way east on BW 8

I saw no less than 10 FJ's in and around Houston this weekend... none of them with anything over stock stuff on though... Voodoo, Ti, Sand, Diamond, Cherry and Brick... it wasn't a bad weekend.

Re: Houston Sited Thread

Yeah, I notice the modding bug isn't in everyone.

I remember parking next to a SFY, and the husband gets out of his truck, looks mine over and says "My wife won't let me do any of that stuff to her FJ Cruiser".

I didn't know how to respond. haha

Re: Houston Sited Thread

Anyone in the Webster area with a silver FJ. Had an ARB bumper and big FX stickers on it. At least I think it said FX.

This AM, I was headed southbound and down on 45 North from Spring, and a lifted titanium passed me.

It was COVERED in Putco Bling.
