Re: Texas Wheeling Event - Katemcy - October 3-5

While I was wheeling out at Katemcy, my brother decided to "borrow" my Bronco I was telling ya'll about and he flipped it doing doughnuts in our FRONT YARD
I'm thinking i'm gonna put a roll cage on it instead of redoing the sheet metal.
It screwed up all my lights and roof, both doors, and lots of other stuff.
I'll post up pics when I take some in daylight tomorrow.

P.S. Does the EXP 1 have the brackets also?
and where did you catch that snake 5x5?

Re: Texas Wheeling Event - Katemcy - October 3-5

I literally JUST now rolled into Deer Park...small group of us made a last minute trip to Fredericksburg to finish off Octoberfest with some German food, beer, and desert.

It was a GREAT weekend, and I really enjoyed meeting everyone. To everyone who made this happen I'd like to thank you! Big thanks goes out to Matt (five-by-five) because if he hadnt given me a slight mental push on two obstacles I think I would've woosed out on alot of other ones.

My truck took very little damage, bottoms of the front and rear bumpers are scratched...trailer hitch is a little rough...exhaust is demolished, but overall good condition!

I took quite a bit of video, not of everyone because I was usually at the back of the pack and didnt have a chance to take the video of the guys up front, but I will upload the videos to my personal server and post them over here sometime in the next few days.

Re: Texas Wheeling Event - Katemcy - October 3-5

Aha! I found you guys. I had a great time wheeling this weekend. I have a lot of pics and about an hour of video to go through. I made it out of there with only scrapes on my bull bar, skids, and rear bumper. It was great to meet you guys and i look forward to seing you on the trails again sometime.

I'm back. And darn exhausted.

I had a blast. Thanks to 5x5 for making this happen and also for taking us up the hill on Lindsay Ranch. It was great.

Gotta love siblings... ...the Expedition One does use a braket style system to allow you the ability to adjust the bumper. The baby rattler was caught on the first part of the Waterfall trail.

A little encouragement is all it take sometimes and minor scrapes underneath is just proof positive that you now know what your truck is capable of.

You and y'all are more than welcome. I'm glad to hear that even though y'alls trucks got scraped up, dinged up, bent up and dirty that everyone had a good time.
