Well, I'm not really from North Texas per se, although I am Norther than most of you, I'm in the Panhandle, but for some reason I suppose I'm considered West Texas. Go Figure.

Anyways, not a lot of places to wheel around here, mostly we head for the mountains of NM and CO, but I would love to meet up with some of y'all next time I'm in the DFW area.

Great to see so many fellow Texans on here!
What about Paladuro (sp?) Canyons? When I was in college at Tech I used to bring my Bronco out there at least once a year and tear it up...it's nothing special, but it's something...

Got my '08 Titanium Metallic 6MT with off-road, rubber floor mats and convenience last week. Look forward to doing some mods, meeting up with y'all and enjoying the vehicle.

That's cool... You ever get to go over to Poland? My wife picked up some polish pottery (the hand made in front of you stuff) years ago, we still have it and use it on a daily basis.. If you can bring some back to the states that stuff is $$$$ here. Next time your in Dallas/Ft Worth join us at the meet/greet.. And let me know if you can pick up some of that pottery for me

Re: North Texans please sign the Guest Book :)

Hello All

I just joined the forum. Bought my 2 wheel drive FJ last week. Great vehicle - just what I was looking for.

I live in the DFW area, but have property in SE Texas - near Cedar Creek Lake. I spend part of each week at home and part at the "farm". I needed a vehicle that could pull a trailer and had more room in the back than my previous car (2002 Corvette).

I also wanted a vehicle that did not blend with the rest of the SUV herd - so, the FJ.

Glad to be here and look forward to making new friends.

Welcome to the forums oldcop! You should try and meet up with us on April 19th at Bone Daddy's in Grapevine. FJinDFW has the link in his thread.

Hope to see you there!
