Re: North Texans please sign the Guest Book :)

Been lurking and occasionally posting on the forum for a good while. I got my Titanium 4x4 AT fully loaded on April 27th. I live just north/east of McKinney and work in Las Colinas. I have 2 year old daughter who claims to own the FJ and tells me every day that “My FJ is in the Garage” or “Let’s go for a ride in my FJ” and a 4 month old son.

I have been really enjoying my FJ, when I am not driving it I am usually building something to go on it, or scramming on the next batch of purchased parts.

Arranging a get-together and possibly some trips would be great.

Mods to date

Custom Powder Coat in Dallas will do the bumper for $125. Ask for Steve (owner) and tell him Graham sent you. He should remember the FJ and the bumper, it was just a couple of weeks ago.

Re: North Texans please sign the Guest Book :)

I'm not an owner yet, I've been looking around these boards for helpful information when it comes purchase time. I posted a similar message on another thread but I haven't heard back yet so I'm posting it here. Has anyone here taking the 2WD out on trails yet? I'm trying to decide between the 4x2 and 4x4 and want to know if the 2WD will be able to handle some reasonable stuff.

By the way, I live in downtown Dallas and I work as a software developer in Addison.

Representing Fort Worth's East Side!

4x4 Voodoo Blue and still trying to break all the factory stuff so I can justify upgrading!

My wife, the dog and I are ready to get on the trails with some fellow cruisers.

Re: North Texans please sign the Guest Book :)

Hey guys, have a 4x4 mt black cherry on its way...Should be in by Thursday. Live in Abilene, TX but will be attending Baylor University in Waco, TX in the fall. I can get to the DFW area from Waco in under two hours so I'd be more than willing to make the drive for a meet/wheelin' trip. Just checking in.

Are there any good trails down in the Waco area? A couple friends of mine attend Baylor and i'll be there every once in a while next school year.

Re: North Texans please sign the Guest Book :)

I'm honestly not that sure. I've joined the "BDC" (Baylor Driving Club) and there are some members who are solely off-road oriented that I've talked to...Apparently there are small places here and there but there's supposed to be a big well-known park outside of Bryan that's less than an hour drive from Waco. Hit me up whenever you're in Waco and we'll hopefully take a trip down there. (I'm 19 also).

Re: North Texans please sign the Guest Book :)

Went to school at SMU in Dallas. Now living in Wichita Falls.

4WD Black FJ. Rock Rails. Skid Plates. Snowboard Rack. Just installed eclipse 6600 nav system. About to equip some offroad tires.

Anybody know where I can go break in my FJ offroad? Have a few places around here but nothing really challenging. Anybody know of some good trails?
