North Texans please sign the Guest Book :)

DFW / North Texas folks, how about posting up in this thread so we know who are neighbors are? Seems like there's more than a few lurking around....

Tell a little about yourself & your rig, might be a good reference for arranging a get-together or trip later on...

Re: North Texans please sign the Guest Book :)

I bought my 2WD Voodoo Blue around the end of May.

My wife, 11 month old daughter and I live in McKinney. Been loving the FJ. My wife still gets a kick out of the 3 wipers.

Bought my 4X4AT Voodoo Blue at the end of May (May 27th) Wasn't supposed to be here until June 15th- but someone's financing fell through and one optioned exactly like I wanted rolled off the truck on the second weekend that I was hovering at the dealership trying to get them to give me a confirmed V.I.N. #. After reading all the dealer horror stories... I'm so glad I didn't take it on faith and wait until June!

I'm a 38 year old Architect who works in Dallas and lives in Coppell.

Re: North Texans please sign the Guest Book :)

Hey Chris,

Thanks for all the help today, cannot wait to get the OME kit installed.

I bought my Black Diamond 4x4 AT FJC on April 2nd. It pretty much came with everything except rock rails and skid plate (yes, I even got the first aid kit). The modifications have just begun (see signature). I live in Frisco with my wife (who is expecting our second son) and 15 month old son. The boys will love the FJ when they get older!

Love the forum, all the great the information, and the many knowledgeable people I have already met!

Thanks Again,

Graham (gsgmac)

Re: North Texans please sign the Guest Book :)

Hey Guys,

I'm living in the Houston area right now, but i'll be in Denton attending the University of North Texas starting in August, just transferred there from San Antonio.

I just picked up my Black Cherry 6-speed yesterday and will be looking forward to do some off-roading in the future. This is my first SUV, I use to drive an Acura Integra. I never really liked SUV but this one just blew me away and I had to get it. So i'll probably need some help getting into it, terminology, where, how, what, etc.

I'm pretty sure i'm also one of the youngest members on the board. Just turned 19 on the 3rd.
