HERE IT IS - The official August M&G Thread

After a reconsideration of all who attend our Meet & Greets, It has been decided that we are going to meet at the Bass Pro Shops in GRAPEVINE to accomodate all of our closest FJ Friends.

So after all that, here is the skinny:

Date: Aug 9th
Time: 1:00pm
Meet at: Bass Pro Shops - Grapevine
Drive to: (need help here)

guys, im open to anyplace...weve been on the ft worth side,(which i like) but also have no problem with "d town"..bass pro's always kinda a mid location--in grapevine...but again,,im game anywhere

How about the Sat., the 9th around noon-ish? I think it shouldn't interfere with last minute back to school stuff. It leaves the weekend of the 2nd open for the Bridgeport Wheeling & Cleanup Day (I will post details in the next few days).

Aug 9th @ Lake Ray Hubbard Bass Pro works for us too.
As Luke originally posted, there are several places to eat not too far away. There is a restaurant inside LRH Bass Pro, but it is on the pricey side. We have previously met @ 2pm to allow lunch crowds to clear out since we need seating for such a large group. Might be difficult to accommodate us close to noon. I really like his idea of a FJ caravan to the restaurant of choice.
I still have my two PM lists (we are up to 50 names) from previous M&G's and will send link to this thread for more input.

I just sent out 50 PM's and about half are in the Dallas area.
Maybe we should discuss a permanent central location for future meetings.

Cool....the Rockwall BPS works for me. I have a brand new Demello front skid plate that I won at the 2008 Summit raffle for sale. It lists for $269.00 + shipping. I was thinking maybe selling it for $225.00...Any takers?

The mid-cities area, Grapevine or Dallas is fine by me.

I would have joined y'all last time but I was stuck at the dealer for 6 hours during the M&G.

what a wknd..infortunatly, my inlaws are coming up to visit.(ive secertly have projects for my father in law) so im commited to be doing "honey do" around the house.....lots to be done, steves seen my garage!!
