New in Temple, TX

Hey everyone, I just moved to Temple from Phoenix and don't know anyone here or anything about the area! I've been dying to do some wheeling since I moved, but I haven't been able to find any information about nearby spots. In Arizona, so much of the land is public that finding places to wheel is easy. Here, it seems all of the land is privately owned.

Anyone in the surrounding area want to get together and help a newb?

Welcome to the forum.

There are a few members in the Waco/Temple area, but lots more in DFW and Houston. Look here in the Texas forum for wheeling and meet and greets for both of those.

There is a fairly nice off road park in the Bryan-College Station area which would be about an hour and a half drive.

Re: New in Temple, TX

The closest park to you is just a couple miles outside of Marble Falls....its calles Hidden Falls, they keep working to make things better and occasionally a few of us meet up there to have some fun. You need to make plans to attend the Jamboree in January in Gilmer, its one of those events not to miss. The guys that put on the event do a great job and the weather is perfect for camping.

That sounds like a lot of fun! I will definitely try to make the event. I'm guessing its during one weekend?
