Exclamation Thrill on the Hill 2007


The 2007 First Annual FJ Cruiser Thrill on the Hill Off Road Rally will be held May 26/27 in Ruidoso, NM

This Event is to attract people to one of the most beautiful parts of New Mexico for a thrill packed family weekend of Four Wheelin’ and fun in the cool mountain air of Ruidoso. The event is open to FJ cruisers and other Toyota 4X4’s. The Toyota FJ Trail team will be attending and Toyota Land Cruiser Association, New Mexico chapter. Desert Sun Toyota, FJCruiserforums.com and other key sponsors will be hosting the event. The trail types will be scenic, moderate and advanced.

Visit Ruidoso Downs Racing for more information on the region. There are three large casinos in the area, lots of shopping, fishing, hiking and site seeing. Bring the whole family; there are lots to see and do!

For other lodgings visit Ruidoso New Mexico's Vacation Information Web Site and follow the links. It will be opening weekend with horse racing and renowned Country legend John Anderson will be performing @ the race track, Saturday 26th.

We have been given discounted rates with the Swiss Chalet Hotel (the closest hotel to the event) email t.polson@hotmail.com for reservation information; please book quickly as the rally is over Memorial Day weekend.

Registration will be $55 per vehicle entry. This will include free camping (first 100 people) Full RV hook ups, tent camping with showers etc.,2 nights of BBQ’s, 2 nights of live entertainment including an evening with the legendary country singer John Anderson, Event T-shirt, free bragging rights of driving with National FJ trail team!!

There is a maximum of 70 vehicles for this event. Please RSVP ASAP. There is a limit of 100 people at the campground, so please RSVP ASAP for that too. The campground will be open Friday the 25th of May for early arrivals.

For camp Site Info visit: Sundance RV. Camping is free (first 100 people) courtesy of Desert Sun Toyota and FJCruiserforums.com. There are 2 RV’s, 3 cabins and a guest house for rent, contact the RV park for the rates. These are at participant’s expense.

Friday May 25th
Hosts/Team arrival and set up.
Possible early bird arrivals of participants.

Saturday May 26th
Initial gathering and briefings for AM Trail run.
Gathering and briefings for PM Trail run.
(We will have a schedule out soon for sign ups)
P.M. BBQ, live music with country legend John Anderson
at the Ruidoso Downs Race Track and Casino.


Sunday May 27th
A.M. briefing, form up, full days worth of driving,
P.M. BBQ and live music @ camp site

Monday May 28th
Clean up and departure.
