Rubber plumbing tape, small can of brake fluid, 1/2 gal distilled water, 2 quarts of engine oil, 14 mm socket and wrench, pliers, phillips and flat screwdriver and an 8" adjustable wrench with a 2' long 2 inch dia steel pipe (breaker bar), 12x12x 3/8" steel jacking plate, a 2 part epoxy glue kit, toothpicks, spare fuses and a 20' 110 volt extension cord.
I'm sorry but this thread does include center console everyday items...only rear storage.

For those folks who are familiar with the AR15.com forum, they have thread after thread for when the "SHTF" (@$%$ Hit The Fan) scenarios. And what you have in your SHTF box along with your AR.
This thread reminded me of those threads. My ultimate emergency box would contain more than just vehicle supplies.
This seems like tool box or bag you would have in the garage and throw in back when your gonna go wheeling. From what people are saying its like people run around with all this stuff as if they are on the verge of going on an expedition at any second.
Good list for something that you have in the garage and use when you go wheeling. But if anything happens in the city call the insurance tow truck to come pick you.

You're talking as if an FJ would break down in the city. ........

Yes I carry a lot of stuff, but I hate not being prepared. I know you wanted to keep this on tool box items, but it is very important to be able to repair a CV on the trail. Expect them to fail, it is the weakest link in the drive train.

Left and right diff seals
Couple extra c-clips for the CV
