Ultimate Emergency Tool Box

One of the first things I wanted to do with the FJ was create a very strong emergency kit (tool box). Now not everything I wanted fit in the tool box (will explian later). This is not about part back up axles and such..

Out of the tool box..
Nice Air Compressor (Mountable) but stores in a bag...
High Cranking Amp Jump Starter

In the Tool Box
Duct Tape
Flares
Tow Strap
Tire Repair Kit
Fix-A-Flat
A few Knifes and Blades
12 Volt Spot Lamp
Flash Light
Tire Deflator
Gloves
Jumper Cables
Few Rags and Such

So what is missing?

Thanks
Scott

Re: Ultimate Emergency Tool Box

Axe, Shovel, Matches, and Blanket (nice add ons) may have to do two tool boxes.

Re: Ultimate Emergency Tool Box

Other suggestions...

-Rope
-Tarp for shade, temporary shelter, or ground cover
-A bow-saw is handy for quickly cutting moderate-sized tree limbs (beats an axe for many situations in my opinion) - they are also lightweight and many collapse or fold down to small size.
-Hand-held GPS unit and magnetic compass
-Nylon tie straps

Re: Ultimate Emergency Tool Box

I also carry a space blanket, whistle, emergency strobe light, candles, mirror. And I always have something that goes "bang".

Lots of great ideas in this thread. Thanks.
