Is there such a thing? A drill bit that's a 1/2 drive at the other end so I can attach it to a socket to tighten nuts? It can be 1/2 or 3/8th. I know about socket nut drives, but what about just the bit so I can use more socket sizes.
Thanks.

You'd be much better off and have way more options down the road with a modest air compressor and an air ratchet. It doesn't take a very big compressor to run a ratchet.

FJamming, those things don't last too long and the torque isn't great for any small drill against old/large/rusted nuts. If you don't want an air wrench, you can cut the female end off a 3/8 or 1/2 extension and drop it into a heavy duty hammer drill. This method will not twist the skinny shaft on the part you've show, and is your best bet to remove stubborn nuts, skin off your knuckles, and, as a last resort, to crack your sockets! Maybe a bit overkill for some, but around here it gets the job done in a pinch on old tractors.

I use the air gun for removing nuts, but I NEVER use it to install nuts. There's not enough control. These adapters are handy for spinning on a nut, then tightening with a torque wrench. Lot's more control IMO.

That's why I want these. The 18V drill can be set much more safely then the impact wrench. Get them snug, then use a torque wrench. The impact to remove it and the drill to install.

Yep, you guys are right, this would work fine for general automotive. I'm just too used to big rusty nuts that take a 4' breaker bar to loosen! Ever try to take off a backhoe tire? Not much fun (pulling the stumps is though)!
