New Motor Trend Issue

Just got the new Motor Trend. It's the annual buyers guide and review of all the new trucks and SUVs. Our baby got a 5 star rating which translates to a Deluxe Leatherman according to their silly rating system. It beat our the new Wrangler which got a 4 1/2 star rating. The H3 got 2 1/2 stars and the Xterra got 5 stars.

I would really loveto see a full motor trend comparison...FJ v. new Wrangler v. H3 v. Xterra.

There was a comparison a while back, I think it was the March issue. It had all of those, except they had a Liberty instead of the new Wrangler. FJ came out like a champ.

That was a good article. I thought it was funny how they had to make a disclaimer on why thier "'SUV of the Year" was beaten.

A Motor Trend (or was it Truck Trend?) journalist was riding with the trail teams at Brown's Camp 2 weeks ago. When I was behind her, she tipped it into a tree. Only a small dent though. Wonder if they'll have an article...
