I read it the other day and it is totally bogus. They bashed the FJ left and right. The top five off road vehicles started with Xterra and thats cool but second was KIA Sorrento. FJ was like ninth. They said it didn't have good traction, was clumsy, and had lots of road noise at high rates of speed. My FJ SE will be here in January and I just wanted yall to kinow that we all own a peice of junk. Watch out for them KIA's.

Them KIA Sorrento's are narrly. Get a lift and a set of 33s on them things and there is nothing they can't go over.

I cancelled my subscription years ago after seeing item after item that they used flawed analysis to prove inferior products were better. Everyone rates the FJ very high and these yahoo's put it in 9th place? They clearly know more than the rest of the 4X community.

Did they do the speed bump test in a parking lot? That could be where others did better. Also, the ability to pull along a curb at a mall and get in and out. That could be why we came in 9th. No butt warmers and no step lighting for the curb.

Consumer Reports should get someone with a little more testosterone to re-evaluate. Too many of these folks don't rate vehicles for what they are, or their intended purpose. They want to put baby seats in them.
