Expanding too fast seems to be the reason for the surge in recalls. I wonder what Ford, Chevy or Chrysler's excuse would be? Certainly not due to customer demand and expansion!

I read an article on the recall issue a month or two ago and how Toyota is very aggressively addressing that problem.
