Mine IS an 07 .... I just bought it a couple weeks ago .... and it has ALL that, SO I DON'T GET IT? WHATS THE DIFFERENCE??! Late 2007 Same as 08??
The FJ Cruiser, the most capable off-road SUV in the Toyota line-up, will feature a number of key upgrades, including an anti-theft system, an illuminated entry system, side-curtain airbags for both rows and sun visors with vanity mirrors. The FJ's base MSRP ranges from $22,545 for the 2WD automatic to $24,135 for the 4WD automatic and receives an increase of $435, or a 1.9-percent average increase.
Side-curtain airbags was a $650 option alone on the '07 so an increase of $435 isn't much for all you get.

Pretty weak collection of changes, if there isn't more to come in further announcements...
Yesh, the red is better, and the tan is fine, but there was a LOT of room for much cooler, more useful improvements. At least they haven't immediately turned it into a leather-cabined luxury monster.

My first impulse on the FJ was when I saw the concept model with the rear sunroof, plus sleeper seats like the Element. I didn't get them when I bought mine, and that's my only disapointment. I guess they 86'd the roof for strutrual integerty. I can't afford to trade in for the latest model every year, but I hope they do some visablity improvements.

I was just on the Toyota website looking at the FJ and decided to build another on the site and they have the 08's on there to include the All Terrain option.
