The FJC will have the same suspension (front and rear) as the 2003+ 4runner/GX470. So you guys are benefiting from what's already available even before the FJ is out
That is true but we are the only company to have new valving especially for the FJ. Due to the shorter wheel base and different pitch the valving needs to be different from the 4-runner.

Just in case you get yours before we do - POST PICTURES. There has never been a truck that looked better than the FJ with the lift and the ARB - holy crap. Every time I see it I have to have a smoke.

Anybody have any experience with Daystar Suspensions? I'm hearing they are introducing a 2" lift kift for the FJ.

Re: Aftermark Truck Parts Already Dropping For The FJ

They're all good stuff. It all boils down to how much you want to spend. Remember that they all do the same thing (lift the rig so you can stuff larger tires and hit harder trails).

Spacers are the cheapest solution but long term the ride gets harsh. It's the technology behind it that causes this. OME (coil and shock) are plush like stock. Coilovers are the best for high speed and even super low speed as it is valved perfectly for each vehicle (in most cases). The more you spend the better the ride ultimately gets while you're on the trails. If you can afford it, get the $$ stuff, otherwise just get the cheaper solution and call it a day.

Btw, those companies I list have FJ stuff already (since the FJ shares the same suspension as the 4runner). This is especially true for the spacers so if you want spacers, go get em

Good luck

Re: Aftermark Truck Parts Already Dropping For The FJ

I found a 2 1/2- 3" coil over on the interenet yesterday by Donahue racing. I am not sure how much they are yet. I don't know if 3" is enough. I drag on everything with BFG 265's. I put 5" on my last TJ with only 33" so I want it at least that tall!
