Aftermark Truck Parts Already Dropping For The FJ Cruiser

Saw this over on Truck Hownd.. looks like a company has already released a front coilover system for the FJ.

Quote:
Donahoe Racing is proud to announce the introduction of its 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser front coil-over system. The 2.5” nitrogen charged race style shock delivers incredible ride quality both on and off the road and the performance you have come to expect from Donahoe Racing. The system allows an additional 0” – 3” of lift to provide clearance for larger tires.

• Nitro-Steel Shaft Will Not Chip or Rust Like Chrome Shafts
• 200 PSI Nitrogen-Charged Internal Reservoir
• Adjustable Ride Height from 0” – 3”
• Race Shock Piston with Flutter Stack Compression Valving
• Chrome-Silicon Spring
• 2.5” Shock Diameter to Prevent Overheating
• Completely Re-Buildable and Re-Valvable Shock
• 5/8” PTFE-lined Spherical Bearing
• Billet Aluminum Upper Mount
• Cad-Plated Threaded Body
• Made in the USA

Yes along with:

Cornfed Suspension
Daystar Suspension
Revtek Industries
Downey Offroad
OME
Sway A Way
Camburg
Total Chaos

The FJC will have the same suspension (front and rear) as the 2003+ 4runner/GX470. So you guys are benefiting from what's already available even before the FJ is out

Red Monkey - the sema show FJ had the donohoe coil overs on the front and an old man emu setup on the rear. It's a four link rear and there are ample packages already available for it since the FJ shares some of it's characteristics with the 4runner/Tacoma/Prado. You might look into the OME stuff. Everything I have read on it would indicate that it's very reliable, pretty much bulletproof.

red monkey

I recommend OME's as well. It's the best overall setup so if you want coilovers up front get that and do the OME's in the rear. If you want to add another bling factor w/ the hoe's get some Total Chaos UCA's

Good luck

Just in case you get yours before we do - POST PICTURES. There has never been a truck that looked better than the FJ with the lift and the ARB - holy crap. Every time I see it I have to have a smoke.

Wow CP, I'd hate to see how black your lungs are. Haha.

Re: Aftermark Truck Parts Already Dropping For The FJ

i wonder if Tien will have a dynamic suspension setup (set from Off road to On road via electronic in the inside of the car) for those who are mainly "road FJ".
