man.. I'm still not over both windows up and down auto on driver's and passenger's switch and quarter suicide doors should have had at least an opening hatch for venting

Fj freedom windows will give you the venting you want. Just had mine installed yesterday and so far they are great!

This drives me angry whenever I read something ridiculous like this. "hence fuel-thirsty" is definitely not the way to describe the new 4Runner.

The new 1GR-FE engine Moves the 4Runner faster than a Jeep Grand Cherokee V6, yet bests the Grand Cherokee in city fuel economy. EPA rating for the 4Runner is 17 MPG city, as opposed to the Grand Cherokee's 16 MPG, despite the body-on-frame setup, slightly heavier, and despite the larger and torquier engine. But when you here them describe the GC, they PRAISE it for its good fuel economy. What's going on?

I wish the rear door windows opened up like my old ford ranger, but I really wish we had heated mirrors, because up here in the northeast they frost up all winter.

I was told the same thing back on '08 by and again in '10 by 2 different toyota dealerships. Glad to see it's staying another year.

I would love to see them bring back voodoo blue for the last year, whenever that may be.

I really really wish they had a diesel engine/ That is the one thing I don't like about most vehicles....gas engines.
The other things pointed out in this thread would have been great too, especially the heated mirrors, extra outlets, and bigger console.

I have never heard that Toyota would discontinue the FJ, guess im lucky! i got the 2013 Trail Teams, its a beast and i love it! a duel fuel tank would be sweet find myself filling it up 1-2 a week.

x2 on the diesel but I'm kinda hooked on the sound of the trd exhaust. I'm looking into the heated mirrors and will post when I figure it out
