Dealer said so many people were lifting them, they wouldn't fit in the garage with the rack. That's why I didn't get one.

I purposely ordered my '08 without the rack because I knew I'd rarely if ever use it and I'm told the wind noise going down the highway is a lot less. Theoretically, you may have a little less drag and therefore, a hair better mileage too. I've been averaging 19.5 MPG per tank... I'm glad I don't have a big rack in the wind I don't need. I like the clean look too.

Anyone see the new Trail Teams Edition FJ Cruiser? It was unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show. 3,200 FJ Trail Teams will be built.
