This is un-freakin' real. I called Toyota today and not only does no one there have any clue about the models or the promotion, but I found out they had the wrong street number for my address on file, so for all I know they may have sent me one and UPS returned it when they found that the address did not exist.

How did Toyota manage to fit their heads so far up their proverbial hindquarters? A rep even offered to investigate further for me, but I just got a message from her saying that they were not aware of any ongoing promotion.

Are others still waiting for theirs?

I got one in the mail while we were out in Texas. Strange that I don't own a TRD, but got the package, just as Mike described, with DVD and book #4. Didn't open up the mini yet, so don't know what certificate # it has.

I did request brochure #4 twice in the several couple months. At first the only thing I received was a one sheet flyer that said I could get a $30 gift/debit card if I test drove an FJ at a dealer. Then I got a second one of those flyers about 6 weeks later. Then this box arrived about 3 weeks later. I'm not complaining, but I've already got both DVD's and brochure #4 (as of this week) and my Titanium mini is fine for me.

Woo hooo!!!! UPS just came and dropped this off. I had no idea it was even coming. I have an 07' SUFU non TRD. Sweet! What a gift!

awww man!
Been waiting for over a year for mine. Each day for the past week i come home and check to see if UPS has made a drop and NOTHING.
Checked my address on mytoyota.com, and all is correct.
Calling SE Toyota tomorrow on this. It's not life or death, but all these non-TRD owners getting one and not the TRD owners is getting a bit ridiculous, isn't it?

i have a voodoo blue fj and in the mail today came TWO of these die cast models. i never thought i would of got this, but they it is neat.

well, this certainly does make our special edition TRDs special...we are the only ones not getting a scale model...lol. most everyone else got one in their respective color and now they are getting the baja TRD too. oh well, it would have been nice to get one, but i gave up on any hope. i enjoy owning an FJ and i guess that is good enough.
