I called again last week with the reference number that was assigned to me. I was put on hold for a few minutes and then I was told it is in the hands of their third party marketing group.

I suggest everyone that received a reference number, bombard Toyota with phone calls. 1-800-331-4331

I think we are basically screwed. The people who answer the phone are idiots. First off, they say it's only if you have a 2006 TRD FJ, I politely reminded them that there IS no 06 and only an 07 TRD, they said "How do you know that?" wtf? Friggin' morons, three different people all with the mental capacity of the friggin' hamster running into the wall in the cage beside me. Toyota pisses me off.

Do you really need to own a TRD in order to get one of these? The reason I ask is cuz the wife received one in the mail. Did Toyota screw up by giving her one?

Supposedly you have to have a TRD but I got one too and I have an 07' SuFu non TRD. So far it's the non-TRD owners gettin them.

When I bought my (regular non TRD) FJ I got the model in 4 weeks.
When I bought my Yaris they sent me a Stainless Steel Thermos bottle...
I dont know why...
