I called on 3/31 and received a reference number. Just called back, and it's "still being researched by the one person in the marketing department who is responsible for this issue." That one person must be taking their sweet time!
I can live without a die-cast model. But, at this point, it's a matter of principal. I can't believe all of the non-TRD SE owners getting one (surprise!) while the lucky 3200 are left out.
One thing positive, I have a camry hybrid and the TRD SE, and both are awesome vehicles. At least they can still build a vehicle the right way.

If it was up to their customer service, I would never buy a Toyota. I've had my TRD for almost 2 years. I call form time to time to see what their excuse is. It's always the same. They ran out. I was suppose to be the 1st TRD purchase in GA. If they ran out on me, what about the others. I'm just assuming they're lying. I'll never see it.
FYI, talk to Evelyn. She's suppose to be "the manager". But she's never there. Basicly, I think they're just holding out until people get tired and stop calling. Which people will. In time. That's just the way it works folks.

As a Titanium owner and next door neighbor to Ryan, I got mine today - complete with autograph.
Sadly, he is moving, but very cool to have as a neighbor and talk about the FJ's. My wife and our little girl will miss having him around to hang out with.

After a month of not hearing from Toyota I called back today to see what was going on. I called the 1-800-331-4331 that Shadow-warrior gave us, I gave them my reference number and they told me they are still working with the distributer, but told me to call 1-800-GOTOYOTA for more information. I told the rep at GOTOYOTA the whole story, she took down my address, number and vin#. She said a manager would be calling the distributor and getting back to me within 48 hours. I got a call back with 8 hrs saying my diecast was shipped today and should be recieving it 5-7 days. I will keep you posted.

Well, I just received a call from Toyota and the rep apologized for everything and told me my die-cast will be shipped out today.
I'm obviously not getting my hopes up yet because I've been getting the runaround for months now, but the fact that they actually called me makes me think something might actually be happening. I'll keep you you posted.
Another (non-TRD) member who mistakenly received one was kind enough to sell it to me at a very reasonable price a few weeks ago. If I do actually receive one in the mail, I'll probably offer it at the same price to a TRDer who does not receive one.
Again, though, I won't believe it till the postman shows up, and probably still won't until I verify the box isn't empty.
