I didn't get a call back. But when I got home from work tonight there was a FJ Cruiser TRD Special Edition 1:18 Scale Diecast model waiting at my door!!! It finally arrived!

Well, well. I'm speechless. UPS stopped by today and left a box with one very cool TRD die cast, SN 2803. This one is far superior to the non-trd they sent me last year.
Finally...maybe my faith in Toyota is restored a small bit.

After a couple of phone calls and an assigned reference number, I decided to call one last time. On Monday I called the 1-800-Go-Toyota number and talked to Evelyn, the supervisor. She told me because I had received the black diamond die-cast, I would'nt get a TRD diecast model. I explained to her that I owned a TRD and she then told me she would check into it. Today the TRD diecast model was sitting on my doorstep. Its worth calling for.

yeah i guess i'm not alone here. got my non SE die cast after numerous phone calls and emails, about 3-4 weeks ago. and then today i also got my SE!!! life...die cast life at least...is good!! gotta love the detail on these things, i was very impressed, i think mine even has a half a tank of gas in it!
