you're going to get skewed numbers if you don't specify "FJ's with the old-style inner fender," otherwise all of the new fender guys will respond "no."
So those of us with the "new" fenders won't ever have this problem???

Re: Everyone Please Respond To This Poll

Rips, no bulge (yet?).
Early build, purchased 7/2006.
Took it to the dealer & it will be covered under warranty, just as soon as they decide HOW to repair it. It's been 3 weeks already & still no call from the service dept.

Re: Everyone Please Respond To This Poll

Bought last spring, will check on build date

I have fender/door gap that has changed on passenger side ie: top is lot less than bottom. If bulges inside they are minor.

Re: Everyone Please Respond To This Poll

12/06 purchase (it was brand new to the lot, but not sure of build date), no bulges, but less than 4k miles (I live only a mile from work). I will keep checking though, and will update if things change.

Thanks Larry.

Re: Everyone Please Respond To This Poll

Once again, a well-intentioned but not particularly well-thought out poll.

Do all owners particpate or only those with early build dates? What about those with replaced aprons? Do owners with only 100 miles vote also?

There need to be some parameters if this is to be at all meaningful. Otherwise, it will be no better than any of the earlier ones and people are just going to stop responding to these polls.

Re: Everyone Please Respond To This Poll

12/06 TRD no bulges or rips YET, I haven't driven much highway, no offroad yet, only have 6000 miles on the truck.

I'll have to check my die cast for rips also, maybe there built better :-)

I have "hairline" cracks down the dimples on both sides.

Thanks for putting this together.
