Yah, there are some real good ones in owner and shop manuals of all kinds. I get a laugh every time I read a warning that -- apparently -- a lot of people are unaware that gas is flammable it's kind of sad really but also entertaining. Given his background, perhaps KLD can write a blurb for the manuals on the virtues of flammable liquids

There is this blurb in the owners manual. Here's some of the warning stuff for what it's worth --- seems pretty straight forward...
Thanks for the info. It looks like the side-curtains are safe to use when you have a child seat in the rear seat.

As far as collisions (police departments don't refer to them as accidents), rear end type are the most common. Many of these have minimal damage and are at low speeds at intersections. The most serious collisions are usually at intersections where one vehicle runs a red light or makes a left hand turn in front of the other. There are both referred to as "t-bone" and often one or both drivers and passengers are transported to the hospital. Phoenix has pretty bad traffic which results in dozens of collisions a day.

I am definately getting the side curtain airbags and I don't think spending an extra $650 is a waste of money.
