Re: Moderation: Should we increase or decrease?

before asking about moderation - put in place rules and regulations regarding posts as well as put in a newbie section where they can ask about cup holders, colors and sleeping space.

i have no problem with foul language or any of that stuff as long as it is not a personal flamin attack and all in good fun. i hardly think that anyone of any age will be looking at this site that could possibly be offended by what we've said. those that are offended need to update their tolerance for society and free speech.

that said, do whatever you want. ill still be here because this is the #1 place to find FJ information. however i would expect to find that people will jump ship if this becomes too much of a PC powerhouse.

I'm with ya Cali. Hell, I'm jumpin' ship if they decide they want a PC playground. That's just lame.

As an owner/webmaster/moderator of multiple domains, sites, and forums myself, I'd say deep six this poll and continue to run things the way you, as the admin and moderators, feel fit. If you don't want naughty word, simply say "No naughty words". End of story and if some people don't like it, they are welcome not to post. Add all the replacement filter you want and even some that will drive a few people insane if you feel like it. LOL
