I downloaded this app in September and I've gotta say that there's much improvement since I've downloaded it. Last night I downloaded the coordinates/waypoints on an old mining road we wheeled on last night. Even tho it's not 100% accurate it's close enough. With this application you can email your coordinates or upload them to everytrails.com if you have an account. Here's a good example of what we did last night. Ofcourse you can see the discrepancies, it's very clear where the road is and where it shows that I travelled. Oh well... this will make for easy mapping of this unknown area in the future.
Also you get the option of taking photos and adding them to waypoints. Very cool. I'd give it 3 thumbs up!
The app is called "TRAILS"? How does it work with poor reception? Most places I end up wheeling have no signal or very poor. Still worth checking out. Thanks.
you are able to take pics while in the Trails application and it'll apply to the way point where you were stopped at.... I was in and out of reception last night and had no issues.
Is there an app that will allow you to post pics from your iphone to the forum yet?
I downloaded and tested Accu-Terra-first you buy that (cheap) and then you buy the state/park/area map you want. You can take pics and it shows where on the trail you took them-set points/places-no signal needed
