Fall Colors: Idaho Springs Colorado

Took a quick trip above Idaho Springs just west of Denver. The intention was to do Russel Gulch, but got a little lost. The trails we ended up on were definitely more in the tipsy moderate range and a few spots that needed low gear to get up and down.

This is where I intended to go, but instead was in the general proximity:

Yea, the fall colors change and I leave for vacation to Hilton Head Island SC. But I am sitting on the beach drinkin rum runners so its a wash. Thanks for the pictures though of home.........
