Rainbow Garden Las Vegas.
Tiffany and I took a trip out to Las Vegas, NV and we decided to take the FJ so we can do some off road exploring of the local area. After doing some shopping, we headed over to the trail head of the Kodachrome Trail. (N 36 11.163 W 114 55.121). The trail splits into three forks Kodachrome, Middle Wash, and Rainbow Gardens. We intended to take Kodachrome but we made a wrong turn and ended up taking the Rainbow Garden Trail. No worries all the trails join back up together at the end.
The Rainbow was fun and not too tough (I was looking forward to the hill climbs on Kodachrome). The FJ had no problems on the trail and I never worried about getting stuck. BLM has signs everywhere warning you to stay on the trail. In some places the have a cable fence to keep you on the trail. I did see some unauthorized trails but with a fine of $100,000, we kept to the legal trails. I posted some photos from the trail below.
