Kingston Peak - Trip Report 7/13-7/15

Got up there Friday evening and it rained after we got camp set up for a little while.
Me, Rich (hubby aka mbx400), Brian (aka forum), Noah (aka rubbersidedown) got up there together. Blake and Heather showed up a little later as did Joe (snwy_mtn_jeep) and Christie (sp?). Hung out drinking around the fire and BSing. Scott (FJ80) showed up way late and a couple of them went wheeling in his cruiser.
Saturday hung out waiting for people to show up but noone ever did (you guys suck LOL) so we all hit the trail drove up Rollins Pass rd and went up to Jenny Creek and did it backwards (ran into a couple other rigs going the right way LOL).
Headed back to camp and ate and then busted out the guns
I brought my hi-point 9mm, christie brought her hi-point 40cal, brian brought his ruger 22 and 40cal and blake brought their 20ga shotgun. Lit up some cans/bottles/stump etc Was a blast although all of our hearing is a little worse than when we started. Someone has an awesome picture of me with my makeshift ear protection good stuff LMFAO. Now Heather and Christie want a hi-point 9mm
We had some a$$hat camp neighbors so later that evening busted out the guns again and made more noise then them, so they shut up.
Sat around the fire and got PLASTERED... finally passed out eventually.
THEN some crazy drunk and high hippie guy with a fake aussie accent came into our camp at about 4am.. talking to himself.. making noise to try and wake us up to give him a ride to nederland.. shook Noah's tent. Noah politely told him to leave or someone would blast his head off and he did leave after about 20minutes from what I gather (i wasnt awake yet). The dude came back. SMART MOVE A$$HAT. Noah not so politely (and very loudly) told him we are all armed and if he didnt leave camp hed be in a lot of trouble. I woke up at this stage and after Noah let into him I yelled at him from my tent 300ft away. Apparently the thought of angry gun carrying women scare him so he left None of us could really sleep after that.
Ran Kingston today after lunchtime. Added our rocks to the rock house.

and now we're home.

I took somewhere around 400 pictures I think So once I get through them Ill post them up

And this is officially the first trail run where I remember everyone's name who attended LMFAO. I had a blast with you guys. Can't wait till next time. One of the best wheeling groups Ive been with definitely!
