Cool My First Solo 4-Wheeling

Today was the first day I climbed solo in the FJ. My dad had let me climb before but he was always in the truck. Today he waited at the top and took pictures while I piloted the Cruiser up the hill all by myself. We were out by Choke Cherry Canyon were there is this really nice hill we like to climb. I wasn't nervous because I had driven up there before but I had anticipated driving solo up it for some time now. I had to wait while dad hiked up the hill with the camera - then it was go time! The hill is pretty steep but with our offroad tires and lift, it was no problem. You can see a lot of skid marks on the rocks but the FJ makes it look easy. When I got to the top I was pretty happy and my dad was pretty proud. It wasn't as big a rush as the first time I got to drive the FJ, but soloing was a big step for me. If your ever in Farmington, New Mexico look me up and we can hit the trails together. Montana Tailgunner

Awesome!

Tallest terrain we have down here to climb are the levee's...lol. But we got plenty of mud and swamps.

Re: My First Solo 4-Wheeling

Thanks flipstyle72. We have a lot of hills and sandstone - great for climbing but we don't get a lot of rain. So no mud. But when we do get mud, we tear it up. Maybe someday if were in your neck of the woods we'll play in some real mud. Thanks again, Montana.

Smile Re: My First Solo 4-Wheeling

Thanks TiFJ. Actually I just turned 12 in June. It was a rush. My dad has been letting me drive a little for about a year now. He has always been in the passenger seat close to the ebrake. You can't go too fast in low gear. This was the first time in the FJ all by myself (someone had to take the pictures). By the way nice avatar.
