Four Peaks 12/11/07

Rose and I went to Fountain Hills to do a few estimates. To what did my bloodshot eyes appeared,,, snow on Four Peaks. So, when the work was done the play begun. We drove over Four peaks and back through Globe

Note the snowball in the middle of this picture coming at me

There was a good 6" + A little slippery coming back down

Pinhead frosty made a brief appearance

Thanks
Don

If I saw a vortex like the one in pic 2, I'd drive the other direction
Are the aureoles from the windshield... I've never seen an effect like that? Edit: I just noticed they're in the first pic too. Maybe the camera, maybe it's you're proximity to Sedona?

I believe the rings you speak of are the cause of reducing the quality of the picture to keep it within acceptable limits for posting.
Unless I really was in a vortex. Hmm maybe thats why I don't remember going home after that run
